Downtown Irish Scene.
There are actually three "Jack Quinn's" in the US--this one; one in Norfolk, VA (which I've been to); and one in Kentucky (which I haven't). I believe they started as a partnership, but each is independent now.
The Colorado Springs Jack Quinn's really delivers when it comes to Irish bars. Good beer, good pub food, good spirits. Building is narrow (though long), so it gets cramped and loud pretty quickly. Certainly worth it, but you'll have to make the trip a few times to find the best time to get the table you want.
Delightful Irish pub. Jack Quinn's is a wonderful place go grab a pint of Guinness, a plate of boxty, and watch a ballgame or listen to traditional Irish music.
Sing Along!. Great live music usually both upstairs and downstairs. Excellent Irish food with great big portions and lots of beer selection. The wait can sometimes be crazy and it can get so loud in here that you can't have a conversation. I love the little booths though, they are so private and cute. The atmosphere is really fun, just don't get mad if someone spills a beer on you!
Faux Irish bar done right. I was skeptical but they do a solid job. The size of the place makes its dependent on having a good crowd otherwise it feels empty. Having said that they do their best to draw people with good food and plenty of music. It would be nice if they had a few more Irish on staff but the Springs in not exactly on the Irish radar.
Reunion Favorite. What a great Irish bar! As part of Air Force Academy class reunions, I have stopped at Quinn's each time in the past for the atmosphere, the great entertainment, the great food, and for the superb service and bar staff. The publicans are classmates, dear friends, and consummate hosts. This is the best thing to hit Colorado Springs nightlife in decades.
Thumpin' Thursdays at the Mighty Quinn's. This is Colorado Springs' authentic Irish Pub. Excellent bar and staff, and really good food for lunch or dinner at reasonable prices. They serve some items up until 1 am. Thursdays are the absolute best when Brian Clancy is playing Irish Pub Songs. It makes it a great place for fun, and a perfect "first date" stop, but you have to get there early for the live music, or stand up.
