Great food. This place is really awesome for their food. The Irish Nachos are one of my favorite things on the menu, and the Bangers and Mash are so so delicious. I don't end up coming here too often, because I know I will just eat myself sick!! Good beer and service, as well.
My experience. I will start by saying that I only eat here when I have a little extra money in my pocket and I am on a cheat day from my diet. I work out 6 days a week and live by a very strict diet, so eating here all the time is not a possibility for me. However, when I don't care how much a fatty, night out might cost me, I choose this place. For starters, there bar tenders know how to mix drinks, and pour beers, and their food is awesome. It really is great Irish food with a little modern day feel to it. If you don't care about how fatty your food is, this is the place to go. Oh yeah, every tuesday evening at about 5:30pm be there for their pub run 5k. Its a lot of fun.
Jack Quinn's Irish Pub & Restaurant. This is one of the most relaxing atmospheres I have been to. The food was outstanding, service was fabulous "thanks Katie", and the prices were very reasonable. We will come back to this restaurant in the near future and recommend it with the highest stars possible.
You haven't been to Colorado Springs until you visit Jack Quinn's.
I have been supporting the Colorado pub scene for many years and you will not find a more comfortable and enjoyable Irish Tavern than Jack Quinn's. The beer on tap is diverse on tasty, the traditional Irish food is top notch and the friendly service is exactly what one expects when going to an established watering hole. This place has been labelled by the Colorado Springs Gazettte as a Colorado Springs Institution and by Travelocity as one top things to do when in Colorado. It really is a must see place whether in town on business, vacation or if you are a local just looking to get your groove on. Good music 4 days a week and centrally located in downtown Colorado Springs.
Slainte!
User review by ssmythe. I think the other person who reviewed Jack Quinns must have actually been at Bennigans. I've been going to Quinns for several years and it's my favorite bar in Co. Springs. I know for a fact that they have Irish music 4 times a week (Sun, Tues, Thurs and Sat) which includes anything from session players to Irish pub sing alongs with Brian Clancy to Irish folk rock. I have seen Irish step dancers and pipe bands perform there many times. The food is excellent and a great value and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Having been to Ireland many times, Quinns is the closest thing to an authentic Irish pub that I have found in Colorado!!
What happened to the dance?!?. Jack Quinn's used to invite traditional irish stepdancers and ceili bands to perform...they have traded them in for trendy bands that are as Irish as a giraffe. The traditional Irish atmosphere is slowly being traded in...you may as well go to your local Bennigan's for that pub feel, because Quinn's has lost it's special charm.
