Romantic and Perfect. As a newlywed, my husband and I decided to try a romantic restaurant, so we headed off to see Kym and Armando. We had a sweet, secluded table, and a wonderful server. When Kym suggested the Chef's special ravioli, we were hooked. The wine recommendation was exactly right, the food perfectly prepared, and we appreciated the superb service.

This is now our favorite "Go-To" restaurant when we want the perfect meal.

2 Strikes You Are OUT!. My husband and I tried this place for the second time last weekend. The restaurant has a nice feeling to it and we keep hoping it would be a nice restaurant...but IT IS NOT. Very expensive, average food at best. When we asked to return a glass of red wine which had obviously gone bad (6 tables in the restaurant do not yield fresh wine / food), the manager came to the table and embarrassed us in front of the entire restaurant with his interrogation.

Best kept secret. That saying has been over-used, but in the case of Fratelli Ristorante, it is so very true. We've been going there for 10 years and have never had a bad experience. In fact, the food is excellent, prepared with care, and served in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Yes, for Colorado Springs, the prices are a bit higher, but well worth every penny. It's Italian fine dining at its best.

Friendly, warm and delicioius. I enjoyed my birthday dinner at Fratelli's with the special of rigatoni in a wonderful, mild but distinctive cheese sauce with Italian sausage - one of the best Italian dishes I've had. The appetizer, capresse salad was so fresh and delicious as was the green salad that followed - what is that dressing?? So unusual. The wine list is impressive and the house wines are some of the best I've ever sampled.

The service is impeccable and welcoming - for a really fine restaurant there is no pretense - just thanks for coming. Nice varied menu as well.

Best Italian in Colorado Springs area. This is a small setting that you'll need reservations for or a willingness to wait, but it's worth it. The food is excellent and authentic. Don't except cheap, huge servings here. This is Italian at its best.

Magnificent!!!. I have been to many Italian resautrants and this one surpasses them all, bar none! It is such a cute little place with gorgeous paintings and a romantic atmophere, a place all couples should experience together for a wonderful evening. It is so authentic that the chef is straight from Italy and he knows how to please the taste buds! The staff was so hospitable and welcoming and the service was extraordinary! I cannot even begin to understand a guest rating Fratelli below the perfect 10 I gave it.

Delizioso!!!

Classy Authentic Italian. My husband and I found this small gem while celebrating his birthday. They have wonderful authentic food and the details are all taken care of for you. If you aren't afraid of spending a little extra to have a nice night out, then this is the place to go. The owner is very hospitable and always welcomes us when we come in. They have a live pianist who comes in on a regular basis. It is a small mom and pop place with alot of class. Their antipasto is delicious and their pasta is one of the best in town. Sometimes we just go in for a bottle of wine and relaxing evening. The service has always been above what is expected and we've always made it a point to sign the guestbook.

Someone said that it is not a romantic place... I think they went to a different restaurant. The low lighting, the candles, the live piano music, the wine. This isn't romantic? We are definately taking my parents here when they come into town.

Bad place for young couples. Where to begin? Ok well to start things off my wife and I found this restuarant online and thought it would be nice to try something new. We made reservations at 7:30 pm and arrived at 7:35 pm. No problem right, well for them I guess it was. The table wasnt ready which wasnt a big deal so they sat us at the bistro. We sat there and ordered a bottle of whine which was nice but after we had a couple of glasses of whine we got sat at a table that just happened to have a sign that said reserved on it. Hmm if it was resereved why didnt we get seated when we first got there. No biggy though. After we got seated we never got our dinner and our whine was all gone. The bread portions were small enough that a squirrel would starve. We never got our drinks, and after an hour and a half of no dinner we finally decided to call it a night. Our plans for the night were ruined. When I finally decided to say forget it and just pay for our soup and salad. They did nothing to try to keep us to stay or even discount the food which we never saw. For a cheap bottle of whine some soup and little pieces of bread our bill was $60.00. I understand this resturant was supposed to be nice but the service was horrible and the food portions were aweful for the price. So I definately dont recommend this place for anyone. Oh yeah they have so many tables in there your litterly whispering to your spouse so no one else hears you. You have to turn side ways and lift up your arms to get around tables and others eatting. Mc donalds was the result of this night. Pretty sad I know but it was already 10:00 pm and atleast they are dependable. Our waitress was very nice but the manager was the one who assumed we wanted to take our time. Hmm never asked us just assumed.

It must have been a bad night. Bland, losta posta, not much of the entre. Felt like the owner was doing me a favor paying high prices for something my wife does better.

"True Italian food in Colorado Springs". We walked in and felt like we were in Italy...we even met the chef! The food and service were five-star all the way. We were pampered throughout the entire evening. I had the veal; the best I have ever tasted. Their excellent wine list and art work made it special. We have travelled all over the world and this ranks very highly on our list. We will certainly be back! Ciao
