Be ready for authentic. This five course meal can run you a little more money but you get a belly dancer to entertain you. The menu has enough variety to please almost everybody. There are no chairs to sit in. You usually sit on the floor with pillows and small tables. You eat mainly with your hands. There are no utensils. The food was good. The whole meal lasted about 4 hours. Too much for my taste. I like to spend about an hour or so but it's a great way to spend time with groups of people. Not bad at all. PROS: Entree selection is good enough for anyone to choose from CONS: Whole meal can last up to 4 hours/ eating area shared (no chairs/tables)

I had first experienced Mataam Fez 7 years ago and fell in love immediately with the place. I have since brought sveral others to its doors with the same results. It is a wonderful experience into true middle-eastern culture and foods. I have been over to the Middle East and can say that Mataam Fez does a wonderful job in keeping everything authentic. the service is top notch and the food ranges from sweet and mild to VERY spicy. I would not reccomend bringing kids to here but it is a great getaway right at your backdoor. expect prices to be $25 and up per person but well worth every penny. Shoes do come off so be sure to wear clean socks.
