very disappointed

Giuseppe's has been a must stop restaurant since first enjoying the peppercorn filet with chutney sauce in 1981. Just went over 200 miles out of our way on our return trip home from Southern Utah national parks to enjoy the moment one more time. Not to be. New menu. Old favorite not there. Substituted the 'real' chutney sauce with a mango chutney that just didn't measure up, and the baked potato wasn't big enough for my six year old grandson. Guess we won't have to work our travel plans around Giuseppe's anymore!

Bad service/meteocre food/ overpriced menu/great atmosphere!

I have been going to this once great restaurant since 1994, and always enjoyed the food, the passing trains, and the old time atmosphere. I have gone to Giuseppe's with my family for every special occassion I can think of. I have gone their for every pre-deployment dinner to Iraq and Afghanistan, every Birthday celebration, all four times to celebrate my various college graduations, and even to have my small bachelor's party there with my family and friends.

I must say that Giuseppe's has been a staple of stability in the community and in my life. Until last night, I usually had good things to say about Giuseppe's. Last night my wife and I went there for my 31st Birthday, and had the worst experience. Between the lies about our drinks being part of Happy Hour, the meteocre food, having to go to the bar to get refills of water, and the constant awkward "walk by commentary" interuptions by our server Cheryl, this is the worst experience I have ever had at this once great restaurant.

The entire experience took two hours and 20 minutes from the time we sat down, to the time we were able to depart. The new owner, management, the terrible new menu, overpriced food, and and loser who calls himself a chef are all as weak as the product the serve. You have run a once great restaurant into the ground; goodbye Giuseppe's!

Good salad bar

My husband and I had not been to Guiseppe's for many years and decided to try the new menu. I ordered the Grilled sausage entree, which was cooked in way too much olive oil. I was sick the rest of the day from the meal, which I could only eat a small amount of. My husband ordered the steamed mussels, which were good, but the linguini was broken in half instead of left whole, making it difficult for him to twirl it on his fork. As a result, he had splatters on his shirt from the meal. The salad bar is great with lots of toppings to choose from. For Italian food, Carrino's is a much better choice.

Best new menu and look

I have been a customer for 25+ years. Over the last few years the food was ok but not great. I went in last night and back again tonight with seperate groups of friends. The new menu is great. The food was great. We all had new and old dishes and everything was great. We love the new look and service was wonderful. The new deserts are worth going in just to eat them. My best to the new chef and owners.

Guiseppes

Try not to get too hungry going there.

The lunch we all had was a horror....one sick from Mussels, the other ones all in Sticker-Schock !

With these prices, you should have someone hand feed you and follow you into the WC to clean up before you go !

For a Birthday Lunch this was a huge disappointment.

Face it these guys are used to Army Rations and when they complain....it MUST be dang bad......and they all did.

We got written apologies on email from the guy who's idea that was.

Stay away !!!!!
