So wanted it to be better. The first time I had their Mango Chicken, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It was BRILLIANT! And I've hoped, for a couple years, for it to be that good again. The food is often decent, but sometimes ... it's only decent.

I hadn't ordered from them in a while because they are so inconsistent but thought I would try again tonight. I do always get delivery, and so tonight was no different.

The fried dumplings were rubbery and nearly flavorless, although the sauce was quite tasty ... which is good as that was what I was mostly tasting. The lo mein was nicely cooked although, again, strangely flavorless ... after adding both soy sauce (which I very rarely do) and tabasco, it was pretty good. And the ginger chicken, another sometimes amazingly good dish, is ... without ginger, I think. I'm sure it's in there, but there are times when the ginger just bursts with flavor and with the chicken and vegetables is really, one of those dishes you crave. Tonight, like most night, and why I hadn't ordered for so long, just ... bland.

I am giving up on them, totally.

If any of you find a wonderful mango chicken somewhere, please let me know.
