Decieving Appearance. I made reservations for Mother's Day brunch after hearing my mom say she wanted a quiet family brunch. We almost drove by the place before someone pointed out that in this tiny STRIP MALL was Walter's. From what I saw, the restaurant is quite successful, so why not spruce up your part of the building, huh? Other then outside appearance, the food, service, and experience was wonderful. Lobster Bisque, Crab Stuffed Sole, and Chocolate Dipped Cheescake. Simple but absolutely amazing.

Best Food in Colorado Springs. Walter's Bistro is by far the best restaurante I have ever dinned at. The food is so amazing and the service is unforgetable. I had the best meal in my life at Walter's. The Chilian Sea Bass is outstanding. My husband and I eat there several times a year and will continue to eat there for as long as they are in business. ( hopefully a very long time)

Good food, good service. I enjoy Walter's, quality food and service in a nice contemporary atmosphere... I am not a fan of chain restaurants and Wlater's is far better than any chain, but a little pricy for the portion sizes

Best Dining in Colorado. I visited walter's this last weekend with my family and was blown away. My two children were with us and while walter's doesn't have a children's menu they more than made up for it. We asked for some plain pasta and were told they didn't have any but had some mushroom raviolis, the boys scoffed at that. The waiter came back out from the kitchen and told us the chef himself was back there making fresh pasta to order for my boys, and sure enought it really was handmade and fresh. this was just the beginning as both my husbands bone-in filet was spectactular and my veal cheeks the best meal I can remember. This is an experience we will never forget.

Best Seafood In Colorado!. My family was staying at the Broadmoor and when we asked the concierge where to dine they recommended Walter's Bistro. We were suprised they sent us off the property to a competitors restaurant, but now we know why. Without a doubt you will not find a better seafood selection in the middle of the country. I had a chilean sea bass, my wife had grilled scallops, and my son enjoyed halibut. we also indulged in the finest lobster bisque I have ever had, a tuna tartar, and lobster spring rolls and they were outstanding. very pleasent service and a nice casual dining area made this a special treat for us. we will be back.

Will be back again and again!. Let me start by saying this is the city's finest dining establishment, both service and food. I was amazed at the decor, the attentiveness of the staff and blown away by the cuisine. I had a fantastic grilled scallop dish tonight and braised kobe short ribs i will never forget.

One suggestion for a previous reviewer, if you want free food using two for one coupons go to mcdonalds, if you want the best food go to walter's bistro

As Good As It Gets!. After reading other reviews on this site I had to try this place, and make no mistake they are right. Walter's is the finest restaurant in colorado springs. My Hat's off to the chef as I had the finest meal I can remeber, an outstanding bone-in filet and my wifes grilled scallops were to die for. Very smooth service and a nice and affordable wine list was pleasing. Save room for dessert as my chocolate lava cake was fantastic.

Simply Divine!. I spent the week in colorado springs with two friends who have also shared their reviews, and let me tell you this is the best restuarant in the pikes peak region. We had done some research on the what are condidered the best around and we visited all of them. Sencha, Briarhurst, Craftwood, Cliff house, Summit, and the black bear, and not one of those deserves to be in the same sentence as Walter's Bistro. It was no wonder their chef just went to the James Beard House for a dinner. Absolutely Divine in every way.

Worth each and every cent, Every Time!!!. Thank god for walter's bistro or colorado springs would be a boring town for food. The service is top notch, walter himself so gracious. My drinks were prompt and quite generous, and the best food in the state. Simple, yet perfect. The Bass was the best of my life, and the bisque is to die for! Go, and hurry!

Absolutley the Best!. What can I say? The best food I have had!

Excellent service, nice dining room, and oooooh! the striped bass.

I can't wait to go back again, as everytime is perfect.
