Pretty good.
I'm not a huge fan of italian food, but I love the Panino sandwiches they have at Panino's. The service is OK, but definitely not bad.
A little cramped most of the time, especially if you have a larger party. I've been there 3 times so far, and will probably go again if I'm in the area.
best pasta and paninos anywhere. my wife and children and i have been going to paninos for about 23 years. we now take our grandchildren and it is still our favorite place to eat anywhere!! and we have eaten all over the world. the nasty reviews written about them sounds like disgruntled x- employees. we recommend paninos to all our friends and will continue to go there as long as we are able....
Pani...NO's. The food was good, but the service was awful!!! We arrived at 8:15 p.m. (they close at 9 p.m.), which should have been enough time for a quick dinner. The moment we sat down, the server was short with us. She did answer our questions about the menu, although not in a genuine way. We felt as if we had invaded someone's private residence and they had been put out. We had just finished our food when doors were being propped open (it was cold outside) and lights were being turned off. A woman, who looked like the manager/owner, even put on her jacket and then sat at a table; as if to say 'Okay, are you gonna leave yet?'. Now, I am not one to linger after closing, but when we left it was 9:05 p.m.! I will never eat here again and I urge others to take their business elsewhere.
This Isn't Italian Food. I'm Italian and we were new to the downtown Colorado Springs area. My husband and I thought we'd try Panino's. Living within walking distance at the time we figured if the food was good we'd make it a weekly excursion. What a disappointment. The basis of any good Italian food is the the "gravy" as we call it and their's is nothing more than a can of tomato sauce. I can do better at home on a hectic night using a doctored up jar of Classico. We left the food uneaten and went elsewhere.
Bland Food With Armpit Ambience. We recently dined at Panino's Restaurant on 8th in Colorado Springs. While the prime rib was acceptable, the thin spaghetti sauce was basically tomato sauce with forgotten seasonings. By far, the worse part of the visit was the incredibly poor service. Our party of six adults were seated at a round table in the middle of the room. The waitress easily could have walked around the table to serve each of us, but chose instead, to reach across the table. Each time she did, we got her armpit in a face or over a food plate. In addition, she forgot the wine until late in the meal and only returned once to refill beverages. Overall, stay home and cook for yourself - you'll get better food and much better service!
