Nice Local Zoo. My kids love coming here. It is on a hill so watch out if you are expecting.

Philanthropist Spencer Penrose founded the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in 1926. Located on 146 acres at an elevation of 6,800 feet, it is the only mountain zoo in the country. The zoo is home to 600-plus animals that represent 142 species from around the world--more than 30 of which are classified as endangered or threatened.
