Won't go back!. I thought I was taking my dog to a place where she would be well treated and have lots of fun while we were away for a two day ski trip. I came back to pick her up and she was filthy not just normal dirt from playing with other dogs, but soaked in urine. I could have payed extra to have her showered before I picked her up, but I'm glad I didn't because this shows a lack of upkeep. I also had a communication break down with the manager over how much her stay would cost. I don't have a problem with paying for the extra full day when she wasn't there a full extra day. I only wanted someone to explain to me why I was being charged for the extra day. The manager came in with a bad attitude and extreemly defensive and was arguing with me and accusing me. Saying things like..."I remember distincly telling you ....." I wasn't being agressive or confrontational at all. I did nothing to deserve the attitude she unleashed at me. I told her I wasn't trying to fight with her and her reply is "Oh I was just upset at something else that happened". That is no way to treat your customers. If she was that way with me I don't know how she was with my dog who can't tell me. My dog also seems very sore, which I'm sure is just from playing. But I've never seen her have trouble getting up before. She is only 10 months old.

Not my 1st choice for a doggy daycare .... I personally went to take my dog there today after looking at the reviews for this facility, and I wasn't all that impressed to be quite honest but then again It wasn't such an awful sight.

PROS: Clean facility, somewhat friendly staff (it was all guys today) and they didn't seem like they wanted to be there w/ the dogs. >_< Why work somewhere where you look unhappy? lol sorry but true. At least PRETEND haha but again I actually want to take my dog where ppl do look happy (Ex: Chik-fil-A employees..@ least the one off N Academy...I seldom if ever see them unhappy, they genuinely look happy to be working =) and they offer u a treat for your dog!)

CONS:

* First timers- NO FREE day of daycare like MOST other day cares.

* They don't separate the dogs when it's playtime, they're all in the same room with 1-2 person aka handler watching them.

* Their webcam was not working today, not sure how long it's been that way but never got to see how my dog interacted so that's something I was really disappointed to find out.

* No outdoor play area, just for sanitation.

Also, notice aside from my review there's only 1 other person that actually wrote a review for 2010 ??? Think about it. So sadly overall, I will not be taking my dog there again even If I was desperate. I would highly suggest doing your research and getting a personal tour around the facility by yourself without your dog so you can see the place and ask as much questions. It's of course your baby we're talking about here, and you just want your furry friend to be happy.

Never taking my pet there again!!!. When we dropped our dog off, he was timid to go in. The staff rushed him in, didn't let him get accustomed to the front area. The initial "dog interview" had to be paid for. While on the tour, we noticed the dust, dog hair, and dirt piled on high the top of the edges of walls.

The staff did not interact with my dog, they just walked around, cleaned up after the animals and did not play with him.

My dog is small, he was placed with the larger dogs. i.e., german sheppard, labs, etc. My dog came home covered in urine. This is unacceptable!!! We will NOT return to Canine Campus!!

Best in town. Canine campus is the best in town. They are clean and everybody is always smiling, you can tell the staff that works there loves dogs. I am always greeted with a smile and my baby with a pat on the head. My dog starts yelling from excitement the minute we turn the corner to get to Canine Campus. They play all day so when I come home after a hard day at work my baby lays beside me, just as tired as I am and we watch some t.v. then to bed. It is very comforting to know my baby is happy and that is what makes Canine Campus special along with other things

Simply Awesome Dog Care!. I've tried several dog daycares in Colorado Springs and Canine Campus is by far the best! The staff always recognizes my dog when we arrive and the place is always clean. Other daycares claim they interact with the dogs, but you can actually watch the staff at Canine Campus playing with the dogs ALL DAY LONG. They play different games and sports every day, so there's always something different for my pooch to do when she goes there. I just love it...and most importantly, my dog loves it!

The BEST Doggie Daycare in Town!. This place is the best place to take your critters on those rainy days when they need to play, or when you have to go to work! If I could afford to have them go every single day, I most certainly would!! The facility is family owned, and the staff are wonderful with the dogs. There is no "spanking" and if your dog behaves badly, they are put in time-out. The pups get to play ALL DAY LONG and they are NEVER without a human chaperone! Plus, when you're out of town, you can see them on the daycare camera, so you know they are safe and having a good time. The school lunches are great! My babies LOVE their hot dogs and turkey and cheese sandwiches. The grooming can't be matched, and neither can the training! Agility training is just one of your choices. The dogs are played with all the time when they stay at Top Dog, and they come home just absolutely POOPED! This place is the only place in town to trust to keep your pets if you have to go out of town. All new students are temperment tested to make sure they will fit in with the pack, and little dogs are even separated sometimes from the big ones. It makes for a safer play group when there are so many of them. Seriously, don't take your pets anywhere else! This is the place to go! Their rating should be a 10!!!!!
