Bring back curbside service, there are many handicapped and elderly that used that service. My husband and I were eating there once or twice a week. Do you really want to turn away customers like that.
Tasty home-style meals and down-home kitsch abound at this family-friendly restaurant chain..
In Short
Though its country decor has been modernized by sleek table lamps and wall hangings, what arrives at the glossy wood tables is nothing but down-home, classic comfort food. Crusty chicken-fried steak with white gravy, slow-cooked pot roast and meat loaf can be paired with the restaurant's namesake vegetables and come with a homemade biscuit. Sweet fruit cobblers, served in a bowl or cup with ice cream, are what Southern grandmas are famous for.
Waiting. There were several tables that had been cleaned but the girls seating people were busy walking around and not paying attention to their job. When they finally decided to seat us they took someone who came in after us first. We were both waiting for a table for 3 in non-smoking. As a result of my experience I will NOT be returning. It ruined the taste of the food which wasn't that good anyway. They need to hire people who know how to seat people and aren't worried about if they look good to the guys coming in.
