Simply the best!. By far the best Mexican food we have ever ate. Our family went in on a Friday night, they were very busy, but we only waited a short time. Service was excellent. Great margaritas and a wide selection of beers. We are from Phoenix and have had Mexican food from Mexico to New York and nothing comes close to the delights we had at La Unica. The appetizers were wonderful, we had the Shrimp Cocktails (fantastic) and Quesadilla's with a side of Green Chile. For dinner we were blown away by the enchiladas, the red enchilada sauce was the best ever. My wife had bacon wrapped shrimp in a spicy cream sauce that was to die for. If in Colorado Springs reserve time to stop by La Unica, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely return.

great food. Great food, friendly family service and a nice atmosphere all added up to a great experience at Taqueria La Unica. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a very friendly staff. The service was very prompt and polite. My order was taken, the drinks and food arrived in a timely fashion. The menu was excellent, so deciding was the only problem I encountered. I had the cheese enchiladas with a shrimp cocktail (which is very different), and my wife had Mexican style pork chops. Both of my children had quesadillas, one with just cheese. Each person at my table was very pleased. Everything was perfect as we enjoyed a delicious lunch. I highly recomend Taqueria La Unica to anyone, and have already done so to many of my friends.
