Great Cheese Fries, Awesome Staff, Good Prices, Cool interior. The kids that work at this place are really something. They are friendly and helpful- we have been there several times and always enjoyed ourselves.

We like the 50's them and the waitresses attire. They were old fashioned uniforms with slips showing and red lipstick. Very cute.

The food is WONDERFUL and the prices are very good.

I recommend the cheese fries, the malts, and the mushrooms.

Don't eat here. It is so difficult to find good customer service any more. At this particular Gunther Toody?s they were over staffed to the point of ridiculous. The main problem with that situation is that the vast majority of the staff was busy huddled together and talking to one another as opposed to helping out their patrons. Our food was brought by a different waitress while ours was busy gabbing in her little huddle and focused on grabbing her tip off the table next to us. She also failed to refill our drinks ? she stated that she?d be right back but she inevitably returned empty handed only to meet and greet new dinners that were sat in her section. The only thing she brought back with her for our table was the promise to refill our drinks.

The fries were cold ? the buns were soggy ? the hash browns and the eggs were undercooked and cold ? even the chicken fried steak was soggy. How in the world do you make soggy chicken fried steak???

To top it all off ? our little one got sick and we left early.

When my wife explained why we were leaving to our waitress ? the waitress asked ?Do you think it was the food?? My wife stated ?YES - I think it was.? The reply was merely ?Sorry.? Nothing more nothing less - just that simple one word reply of sorry and she walked away. My take on this anemic response is that the staff has heard this reply far too often and hence has grown accustomed and far too comfortable with this type of reaction to the food at the Woodmen Gunther Toodys.
