We have been eating at Jun's every few months for over 10 years - We have seen the same chef upon every visit. Now we have 3 children (6,4 & 2) that LOVE to go to Jun's too! Our little ones enjoy eating at the low tables and they just eat up everything - sushi and all. It is one of the only places we ever eat out at here in the Springs. Their sushi is authentic (if you want it to be)they will make any requests that you have - I have eaten sushi in many parts of the world so feel equipped to draw a comparison (you can order the 'cooked' rolls if that is more to your taste), fresh and affordable. The staff are always friendly and have no problems helping those less familiar decipher the menu. Our family has enjoyed everything from the Udon to Tempura to the sashimi it is always fresh,tasty and we have NEVER had any issues with stomach upsets (obviously, otherwise we would not give to our small children or return to the restuarant) and neither have we ever heard of anyone becoming sick after a meal at Jun's (we have lots of friends and family that eat their on a regular basis too). If you prefer a fancier atmosphere you could go to the Garden of the God's one, but we as a family, prefer the original location. Of course the sushi in Japan is more authentic (as it should be) but the restaurant also has to cater to the taste of the area, and as far as this area (and many throughout the world) goes, this is absolutely as good as it gets!

On June 19 my wife and three out of town friends ate the chicken and with-in hours were all suffering from Montazuma's Revenge - The owner refused to even call back to apologize but instead, accused us of lying because no other complaints were received. Not looking for free food or money back - Don't need either. Just an apology ... we'll see ...

I went to Jun's on Academy. Although they get points for having very original combinations and a large variety of sushi, the sushi seemed very sloppy, not fresh at all.
