Owner needs serious customer service skills!.
I hate even giving this place one star. I called to schedule an appointment to talk about booking them for a wedding. First, I seemed to be an inconvenience to the owner, Gina, when I called. Once she bothered to check if the date was available, she made sure to tell me that although they were free the Friday before Labor Day, they would be closed that Saturday and Monday. The wedding is on Friday, I don't need to know they'll be closed the rest of the weekend. I got the feeling she was trying to tell me what an extra effort it would be since that's a holiday weekend (like I don't already know that-I planned it that way for out of town guests). Secondly, she made sure to tell me that she was unavailable to meet with me until after June 27th because she would be out of town...okay...and when she got back INTO town, I could only meet with her during the mid-day, preferably around 1pm. I expalined I work in Denver and could she meet any other time. Her answer was simply - No. I replied that since she didn't really care to lose a wedding deal over HER schedule, I would find another florist.
Let's see...if you work for a living, 9-5, like I do, FORGET this place...She is more concerned about sleeping in and leaving early, than her customer service skills. In fact, FORGET this place all together. EVERY other vendor at least expresses some happy tone in their voice when I mention getting married...she seemed completely annoyed!!! there are plenty of good florists out there that would be HAPPY for the business...literally happy.
Nice Mom and Pop Shop. I have ordered from this shop for a number of years and always received good service and exceptional product. There was one time that my flowers died early, and when I went back to the store, they were happy to replace the product at no charge. The replacements lasted for weeks! This is my florist!
Top quality flowers and service. I recently ordered flowers from here for my sister's funeral service. The arrangements were very beautiful. We took many home with us, and were so glad they lasted a long time. When we ordered the flowers the sales people were so kind and helpful. Really important for us considering the circumstances. I would not hesitate to go back. I don't usually write reviews, but in light of some of the reviews on here, I just wanted to relate my experience. I live in this neighborhood and many of my neighbors recommended this shop to me-I am pleased.
Very unprofessionally run business. I have never posted a review before. However, after the way I was treated on the phone this morning by the woman who calls herself the owner of "Flowers to Go", I felt I must make people aware that this is an unprofessionally run business. I found this woman rude and condescending in regards to my questions about prices. Shortly after I spoke with her I noticed another review that was "positive" posted about this business. I find that review highly suspect since I told her I would be posting my concerns today. I would urge anyone to consider a florist who treats potential customers with respect.
Love this place. I have ordered from this florist several times since I moved to the Springs, and have never been disappointed. The flowers always last good and are really beautiful. I always receive great reports from people I send flowers to from here. I have been in the store and the family there is really down to earth and friendly. This is a genuine family business and I am glad to have found it.
Go to Grocery for your flowers.. rather then these guys..
You would be better of going to a grocery store for flowers.. Delivered on Monday, wilting by Wednesday and DEAD by Saturday.. Not what I would expect from a PROFESSIONAL florist shop.. Like I said better off going to a grocery to get flowers. I have had them last up to 2 weeks for no where nearthe price my Mom paid for this gift.
