Good sandwich and scenery!. This place sits right off of I-25 and the south gate of USAF Academy. The atmosphere in this sandwich shop at very nice. It faces Pikes Peak and it seems to be well kept. The sandwiches and soup are pretty good. This store gets a lot of business during the lunch hour so wait times can be a little long. They also have a drive-thru service. I've never encountered any food quality issues with this store.

Since 1971, familiar green, white and red marquees have greeted patrons looking for international-style deli sandwiches. Starting with "The Original" sandwich--piled with three meats, three cheeses, mustard, marinated black olives, onion, lettuce and tomato on a fresh-baked sourdough bun--the menu has expanded to include zippy jalapeno-cheese bread; soups like Boston clam chowder and broccoli cheese; albacore tuna and chicken-pesto pasta salads; healthy wraps; and creative eight-inch pizzas like Thai chicken and Tuscan herb.
