The best I tasted.. I ate a couple times at this restaurant when I lived in C-Springs and really didn't have any problems until the last visit--about 1.5 yrs ago. My wife and I had the pulled pork and had to find the part containing the meat. It was all fat run through the grinder. That was the worst I had ever experienced at this store. I agree with what another reviewer said--the quality of the meat seems to be going down. I wish they would remove the word "Texas" from their name, because I've eaten some good stakes and pulled pork in that State. The founder of this chain is from Colorado--I'm sure he can make a little effort to make the quality of meat his restaurants serve is much better than it is now.
Texas--themed barbecue chain provides carnivores with a family-friendly spot for a hand-cut steak or rack of tender ribs..
In Short
With dozens of locations spread across most of the country, this faux-roadhouse chain has become a dependable spot for families in search of a casual spot for affordable steaks and down-home comfort fare. The playful menu is dotted with kid-friendly titles (chicken "critters," "road kill" chopped sirloin) and options (add caramel and marshmallow to a baked sweet potato for a dollar). In-house hand-cut steaks come in a plethora of cuts and sizes.
