Tips for Ups Customer Ctr

I discovered a package left in my driveway without the proper notification of a doorbell ring, etc. The package was not for my address and I contacted UPS customer service on three different occasions to advise them of the error. I was advised I would be contacted by telephone within 1 hr when they would make arrangements to pick the package up for correct delivery. I never received a call back and each time I called them back, they would advise they would call me back within 1 hr. After 3 days of calling and reporting the incorrect delivery, they still have not responded. The service is lousy and they apparently are not customer oriented or lack professionalism! A note to UPS management! Competition is the best inducement for efficiency!! If you do not have any interest in providing adequate customer service, I am certain your competition does!

Strongly do not recommend UPS!!!! Have had to call customer service for every package delivered by UPS at Colorado Springs. Just need to the package delivered to apartment leasing office when not home. Driver always takes package back to UPS regardless of any special instructions left on my door or from the shipper. I have never had this problem anywhere else. Now I chose another delivery service whenever possible. Don't ship UPS!

Packages Repeatedly Thrown In Mud!. Whenever we have a UPS delivery, the package is either miss delivered or thrown carelessly over the fence. Yesterday's delivery wad no exception, package thrown carelessly over the fence into the mud. All the driver has to do is honk when pulling up and I would be happy to go to the gate and get the package. To make it even worse, the package would have easily fit into our huge USPS approved ballistic grade mailbox. Why did they throw it into the mud? I will never use UPS again, and in fact, if a company uses UPS for their shipping, I will not be doing business with them either when I need to order something. I know Fed Ex has recently been highlighted for their careless tossing of packages, but our Fed Ex driver comes to the porch, brings treats for our dogs (the dogs are extremely friendly), and knocks. From UPS all I ask is to simply honk and I'll meet you at the gate, buy obviously that is far too much to ask from a service we pay for. You can't handle your core business correctly, why would anyone choose you for logistics UPS?

Excellent service. Perhaps the staff has changed since previous reviwers wrote. Or maybe they just found the one bad apple. I've gotten excellent service from this branch on Emory Circle and from the drivers. They always deliver on time, always leave a note saying where they left the package, AND, get this: Once I took a package to the store on Emory Circle. The nice lady opened it, repacked it there on the spot, and then insured it. The package arrived over a thousand miles away in 3 days--undamaged. I love UPS!

Several hundreds out of my pocket. considering a law suit .

I'm just a dlivery person!. UPS delivery personnel always been dropping the packages at your front door after they rang your doorbell if not, knocked except when it required a signature. These guys have route to finish. As long as they find the delivery address, rang your doorbell or knocked on your door and leave the package, their job is done. To prevent you from losing everything money and package, you either (1) request for a signature service or (2) get an insurance. Most credit card can dispute the charge if you charge your purchase and may not have to owe anything. In addition, most credit card companies have protection on your purchases. For instance, if someone stole your purchase(s) AND have a receipt OR proof of purchase, the credit card company will reimburse for your lost when you report it to them.

You will always find a "bad apple" in every facet of our lives. UPS is one of 'em. It sucks that one bad apple can spoil the company as whole.

UPS DRIVER DILEMMA. For the second time I was to receive a package from UPS and the driver was out of this terminal, the forst time the package was to be delivered next day, the seond time was 3 day delivery.

Well it took 5 days for the first package as the driver was too lazy to follow the directions to call me when he was here as I live in a secure building and I needed to let him in, instead he just kept putting the package was undeliverable.

I just received a phone call from the office telling me that my second package through them is nowhere to be found and the driver stating he left in the front office of my apartment complex(which my signature was reuired for this as its an $800 laptop), that he dropped off 3 boxes(was in the office like 20 minutes after he left and there were 4 boxes in the office as I was standing in front of them when the lady checked the names) and "Ma'am I'm sorry but there is nothing I can do until tomorrow so I can call the office to see where you package is. Sure hope whoever got my laptop is enjoying life at my expense....

my theroy...AVOID UPS!!!!!
