ALL AROUND AWFUL. We got our margaritas quickly but my guest that ordered Coke didn?t get his for at least 4 to 5 minutes after we had our drinks; we had to ask for it again. After a solid 30 minutes we received our food order, except for our friend who was drinking Coke. We reminded the waitress about his order and she ?got right on it?. She came back with a chicken burrito, but he doesn?t eat chicken. He told her it was not what he ordered; she asked what it was that he ordered and he stated that he ordered a shredded beef burrito. After 10 more minutes I asked the manager what was the deal with my guest?s food. He asked what he had ordered and the waitress said that she thought he agreed to eat what was in front of him. I explained that he ordered a shredded beef burritos and when the order first came up wrong, he again stated what he had ordered and wanted. The manager went back and got the cook working on the order. It arrived in about 8 minutes. We had now been in Cafe El Paso for 1 ? hours. I had eaten my burrito which was lacking in flavor, but I am from California and figured the Mexican dishes in Colorado were not as spicy as in California. My other guest was only half way through her dinner when we were ready to leave so I asked if there was something wrong with hers and she said no. My friend who finally received his shredded beef burrito finished his dinner in about 5 minutes and we were ready to get out of the place. However, it took forever to process the check (close to 30 minutes). I even wondered if I should have stayed with my credit card.

I waited outside for my two guests to finish in the rest room. They came out and we left. The next day I found they had both went to the bathroom to be sick! I don?t know why they didn?t tell me that they felt ill before I paid the bill! I hope this helps others from falling into the trap we did.

Home away from Home. Great food and company for going on four years for me now. Reviewer (goddammit303) is obviously on Meth. I think with a name like goddammit303, perhaps it would be best to stay home and do society a favor.
