I purchased a combination car wash and
meal in June. No mention was made anywhere that the meal is only good for one month. I went back for my meal in July and was told that my meal deal was "Way out of date." The manager acknowledged that it was their error in that they failed to mention or print anywhere that the meal deal expires. The manager tried to cut me a deal by offering a meal at a 50% discount, and then questioned my word when I said that they should cover the meal since this was their error. The manager clearly enjoyed wheeling and dealing, and I hope that he enjoys losing me and my family as customers -- permanently. So, before you go to The Hub, consider whether you want to be smooth talked and ripped off.
Update 4/22/11 - The owner and I have reached a agreement and the seat in my jeep will be repaired. I appreciate the gesture.
On 4/16/11 I took my 2006 Jeep Liberty in to be washed and detailed. When the jeep was done and returned to me I found that they had punctured a very large hole in to the passenger seat. I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty right away. He took pictures and told me that he would review the surveillance tapes and speak with his employees and promised to call me Monday before 11 am after speaking to ownership. He failed to call so I call and spoke with him at which time he said that they were not responsible for the damage. I spoke with Michelle and she basically said the same thing and would not take any responsibility for the damage done to my jeep. At that time she also stated that she would also review the surveillance tapes and speak with employees and call me on Tuesday. She also did not call. Shows me how concerned this business is to the customer. My suggestion would be to never go to this place!!!!
Car Left With Scratches.
I own a 2007 BMW 328i. I have never machine washed it, as I always washed it by hand. I made the mistake of taking it to get washed at the Hub Car Wash located off of Woodman in Colorado Springs. Passenger side came away with scratches and swirls. Manager said it must have been a preexisting condition, made me to sound like a liar. You could tell that the scratches and swirls were made by car wash brushes. I would say I will never take my car there again, but who cares now that the damage is done? Do not take a car you care about here if the paint is in excellent condition - it won't be when you leave! To add insult to injury, i got their top rated wash service, and all the services weren't completed, such as air freshener and the floors were still dirty.
