Terrible Food!!!. I don't understand how this restaurant could have ANY good reviews!!! My husband and I are HUGE Indian food fans, we eat Indian food probably once a month, but have only eaten at Mirch Masala twice. Once several years ago and once last night. We decided to give it a second chance as they work with a local delivery service, but that will be the LAST time! We'd hoped they'd improved over the years, but the food was AWFUL!!! I don't know what people are eating, but what we had both times was just terrible!! We both ordered Vindaloos, both appeared to be colored with food coloring, the sauces were very thin and watery and they were spicy, but that was the ONLY flavor! Same with the Dal Makhani, spicy, but lacked any other flavor!! We were excited to try their mixed vegetables, but were dissappointed to find that they were made with a cream sauce as the menu didn't mention it! The ONLY bright spot was the bread!! We ordered the Aloo Paratha which was delicious, but as for the 2 curries and the 2 vegetables, a BIG THUMBS DOWN!!! If you want great Indian food, try India Palace, they have never let us down!!! Plus I think their atmosphere is much nicer!!
Good Masala. We went Sunday night at 8pm.The Staff was very unfriendly and where more interested in pushing us out the door then in serving. At one point another table came in 20 min after we did and where told that they couldn't order certain things off the menu because it would take to long to make! Over all the food was good, the vegetarian samosa's where very good and the masala was good to but a little buttery. I'd order from Mirch Masala again but as take out only! Oh and like one of the previous reviews said, the seats where a little saggy.
One of the best Indian food in Co Spgs. My family and I go here often. This place has not disappointed us yet. Service is good and the people are friendly. This is authentic Indian/Nepalese restaurant that actually has Indians/Nepalese working there to make the food!! I have been to restaurants where the restaurant has no correlation to the employees that work there.
Best Indian in the City. We frequent this place about once a month. The food is good and the service is excellent. In the past few months, the food has been even better than before. I think out of all of the Indian restaurants in town it has the cleanest bathrooms (most are pretty darn bad) and they have a very good selection. (The items on the menu are also spelled correctly unlike other Indian places in town.) We like our Indian food hot, so when we say hot, they actually make it hot. The prices are comparable and the place is always open and relaxing. I don't give five stars much, but this place deserves it.
