The cream of the crop in pretension!. With hearts full of anticipation my girlfriend and I floated into the Broadmoor to feast at this gem. We were dressed appropriately so apparently it was unacceptable to show up to (literally) a nearly deserted dining room with no reservation. We were turned away with the promise of an hour and ten minute wait if we persisted. And to think this place topped my list of "must to-do's" while in Colorado!
Another place to take out-of-town guests. The Golden Bee isn't someplace that I'd visit on a regular basis. Unless you live at the very south end of town and really like piano music, it's not an every-weekend kind of place. But, this is a great place for out-of-town visitors. This isn't the place you want to eat dinner (but, the cheese dip is good). Go for the atmosphere and to sing songs.
Outstanding atmosphere. This place is so much fun. It's definitely good to arrive early, or plan on a little wait, but a nice walk around the lake while waiting is always a good time. The drinks are great, the piano player is fun and the cheese spread is outstanding! I love my evenings at the Golden Bee.
Over priced three star food and service. way over priced convention center bar. Rude door person who will not shut up.
Way over priced for terrible service. Waited over 45 min for our meals !!?? Supposedly 5-star ?!
