Can save some money in the Springs with this place. I come here a lot and it's by far the best deal for the cost of a movie ticket when comparing other movie theaters here in Colorado Springs. The Picture Show is a good place to go out to see a movie, at a reasonable price, with my family We all like seeing movie on the big screen, i would recommend this place to anyone.…
Watch Good Movies Here. I like this place. Nice and friendly people. I don
unethical un-customer service African American food clerk. I like the theater for the cost, but I do not like one of the food clerks who is unethical and un-customer service oriented. When I was getting a refill on popcorn after seeing the movie I paid for, the African American food clerk told her Caucasian trainee to fill my tub with popcorn crumbs and un-popped kernels of popcorn and top it off with good fluffy popcorn. I find this to be very unethical and non-customer service oriented behavior. The African American food clerk, at another time, again, when I was getting a refill for my tub of popcorn, rudely spoke to me, using her hands to hurry me along as if she owned me as her worker slave. I was the only one in line and there was no one behind me. She did not treat me with respect, nor did she make me feel welcome at The Picture Show. She should be fired because of her unethical behavior and rudeness to customers. I am a retired, African American women, who is very displeased with this African American food clerk's unethical behavior, who does not know how to treat paying customers. She is definitely not an asset to the Picture Show establishment. Another time, I asked for diet soda and she gave me regular as if she did understand me. I made her throw out the regular soda and give me diet. I am a diabetic and the regular soda would have made me faint from the sugar rush. This girl needs to be fired. She is a liability to the owners of the Picture Show.…
Wait to rent the DVD instead! No regard for customer svc!.
I used the restroom when I first arrived at the theatre. Because all of the lines were long and there were large signs posted near all of the cash registers stating tickets could be purchased at any
register, I waited in line at the register nearest the restrooms.
I finally reached the register after a 15 minute wait. The young girl at the register refused to sell me a ticket and concessions, stating she was only assisting with concessions for a birthday party.
I pointed at the large signs on both sides of the girl's register, and politely reminded her I had waited in line for a long time. The girl reiterated that she was only assisting a birthday party and would not sell me a ticket or concessions.
The movie I drove far across town to see was starting immediately. Therefore my only option was to leave without seeing the movie that was showing only at that theater.
Forty years ago when I was approximately the same age as the girl, we Baby Boomers were taught to provide friendly accommodating service to customers. This girl couldn't care less if I would miss the first portion of the movie had I stayed and waited in another line. The large posted signs stating tickets are available at all cash registers should certainly be removed if this promise to customers will not be honored.
When I attempted to phone a manager after leaving the theatre, there was no way to speak with anyone. After the number is dialed, there is only a recording with current movie titles and times.
It is shameful indeed that young people generally show little or no respect to the public to whom they should be required to provide quality customer service.…
Solid establishment for the price.
It's only $1.50 folks, although most concessions are expensive they offer hot dogs for $1. They aren't very good hot dogs I'm afraid, but it's so refreshing to have at least one inexpensive edible
item in an industry where a pickle costs $3.50. My wife and I spent a lot of time here in high school and still go here frequently when we are too broke for a more pricey date night.
The screens are larger than the chapel hills theator but smaller than the cinemark. They are big enough, the chairs aren't too bad, but are fairly narrow.
The movies come right before DVD release and that is likely the primary reason for this venues cheap pricing. I feel like the quality is not too bad and for a $1.50 I strongly aprove of the building and quality.
Again, they get you on the snacks (thus the thriving dollar store next door!) ;-)…
