Greasy fried seafood. We (3) went to English dockside because it was voted the best seafood in Colorado Springs. What a disapointment! Breaded, fried seafood. Blue crab was tasteless. French fries limp. The shrimp was the only good thing in our meal. Crab cake was unlike any I've tasted. I could not detect any crab. The worst item we tried. Service was very good. If this is the best seafood in Colorado Spring, then this city has a real problem.

Best Seafood is English Dockside! NO waits and excellent service!. English Dockside is number one in the seafood business in Colorado Springs, and once they go world wide, in the world! The owner Thomas English is the best at what he does, he is the cook and basically the everything of the restuarant! He makes his own seasoning which makes English Dockside go beyond all other restuarants, especially Red Lobster! Red Lobster, as we all now, doesn't come close to fresh seafood, i mean FRESH is English Dockside's name, ENGLISH DOCKSIDE FRESH SEAFOOD AND GRILL! The service is at the top and the young girl, who is Thomas' daughter, takes the food to the extreme, because she makes the atmosphere of the restaurant comfortable. Now, if you don't like seafood i feel sorry for you but they have great wings, burgers and steaks. Especially the burger, in which they call it a slamma burger, because that burger is huge and filled with flavor. But seafood is the main reason to go to English Dockside, because it appeals to all cultures of seafood! If you are from the east you can choose from crab cakes to Chesapeake Bay Oysters! If you are from the south you can choose from gumbo to crawfish to catfish! And if you live in the west and midwest, most likely you're accompanied to high quality fish and they have plenty to choose from! Lastly, if you reside from England, the owner is not english but he does have fish and chips and clam chowder up for grabs! All in all, English Dockside is at the top of the dome for great seafood and a great time out, so go and visit soon, because sooner or later everyone whos anyone is going to be talking and enjoying the great flavor of English Dockside Fresh Seafood and Grill!!!
