great service and food. My wife and i went to the fox and hound and had a wonderful experience. the food was excellent and service was fast and friendly. The manager on duty that night was also very friendly he came to our table and talked to us. i would recommend The Fox and Hound pub to any one that wants good food.
Not impressed.. Typical atmosphere of a sports bar with a lot of TV screens and sporting events--but a little loud at times. I couldn't hear myself think or for that matter talk to the person next to me. Their menu items seemed to be pretty standard among these types of establishments. Food ordering was quick once it started, but took a little time to get the food--especially if you're in a large group. We found this to be a regular occurrence whenever we had group gatherings at this location. I found some of their food to be a little on the salty side and often already cold when it arrived at the table. On several occasions--it took our waitress a little time to refill our soft drinks. I can't really speak for their service at the bar. I'm not the type to drive out of way to eat at establishments serve average food unless it's really good/unique.
How do the employees pay their bills???. My husband and I went there (establishment was not busy) and we were greeted at the door and seated in a timely manner. He went off to use the restroom and I sat at the table. A waitress was helping another table, finished with them, then looked at me and walked off. My husband returned 5 minutes later and sat down beside me and asked if I ordered the drinks yet. I said no. That same waitress came around again and looked at my husband and turned around and walked off yet again. So my husband and I at that point left. Of course we mentioned our disappoinment to the front door employees as we left. We went to THE OUTBACK STEAK HOUSE AND HAD A GREAT TIME LEAVING THE SERVER A $40.00 TIP ON AN $80.00 TAB - SO THE DUMB WAITRESS FROM FOX AND HOUND THAT THINKS SHE CAN PICK AND CHOSE WHO SHE WANTS TO WAIT ON - DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER CAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHO IS GONNA TIP AND TIP WELL!!!
They ruined our party!.
I scheduled a 30th SURPRISE birthday party months in advance at Fox and the Hound. One main reason why I chose them was because we could have a private room with pool tables and many big screen TV's. TWO DAYS before the event the store manager called to tell me there was a problem and that they had double booked their establishment. They either needed to change the time of my party, the date, or cancel it. I had over 40 people coming, many from out of town to the SURPRISE party! Long story short, but I worked out with them we would start on the patio for cocktails and apps. Then when the game was over we would move inside. I had no other choice.
Bummer 1-The patio is by the front door and the birthday boy saw the party walking up.
Bummer 2-The patio was not big enough to move around on with all of the tables and chairs for the 40 people.
Bummer 3-It got colder outside and our guests got cold and some left prior to moving inside.
Bummer 4-The food was cold and overcooked.
Two good things-Our two servers were absolutely wonderful and very great to all of our guests!! They tried to make up for the mishaps of their party planner and management. The other good thing was that the Fox and the Hound gave me some discounts on the food, drinks, and room rental. However, I was disappointed with the party and will not be going back!
