Awesome daycare. My children have attended White Oaks academy for the past three years. My children have loved it there. Whenever I needed help with a problem, the teachers have always been there to help me and my kids. I will continue rely on White Oaks Academy on babcock.…
Great Support/Extended Family.
The structure is great they use a program called love and logic. It helps my son who has many behavior issues such as ADHD and ODD. The staff at White Oaks is great we all work together to help my
him. I have been taking both my daughter and son to this facility for the last 2 years. I wish I took them sooner. They communicate with me and they don't mind me calling to see how my son day is going. I don't know what I would do without them. They are the extended family anyone could ever ask. I love them and my kids love them.
P.S. They have also redone the preschool/pre k program so the children in that class room are prepared for kindergarten.…
what a joke!. My kids went to white oaks 1 and when the director left there the place went down hill. The other directors from the other centers were there and were no help at all!! They were rude, never said hello and talked about the people that worked there. It was a great place before they came and it will never be the same. They lost a lot of good people and I ended up pulling my child.…
Happy!. I have been taking my daughter to White Oaks Academy since she was 1 1/2 years old, she is almost 7 now, and she has always had fun there and I always feel welcome when I go there to drop her off and pick her up. Jennifer and Heidi have always been nice and informative. I definitely recommend the daycare on Babcock Rd!!…
Want good communication? Look elsewhere!. I had no problems with this facility for about a year... communication seemed fine, my son seemed happy as ever. Then moved up into the 4 year old room, and I was receiving good reports all the time. Suddenly the director (Jennifer) who had never been anything other than professional previously, called and told me he had been having behavioral issues for at least 3 or 4 weeks and was being sent home. Asked why I had not been told this previously (because all of us parents want to be informed right? how can I fix things at home if I'm being told he's good all the time!) and was told "the teacher in that room doesn't like to give negative reports." Unacceptable. I called her on it and she did not want to hear anything else I had to say, she said as soon as SHE knew about it, she called me. I said that is not good enough! Why on earth would you have a teacher in the classroom that does not have the capacity to give accurate reviews on behavior. To top it all off when I went to pick my child up that day, the teacher in the room allowed all the children to circle around him and yell about what he had done to them while all she said was "He hit me...and he told me no..and I yelled no back...but he did not stop..." Ridiculous way to handle children. She has no control over her class and a child should never be ganged up on and screamed at. He was very upset. Decided not to bring him back, not to set him up for failure in that classroom again. If you are looking for a quality day care that will give you accurate and thorough communication about your child and with a director who will take the time and care about listening to you, even if the facility is in the WRONG, I would highly suggest going elsewhere. It is too bad, I have recommended this facility to several friends previous to this incident, but that was enough to completely change my view.…
