Everything seems right about this
place. It’s well designed, comfortable, well run. Everybody on the staff is friendly; everybody is on the look out for ways to help you, whether it’s their job or not. If my toilet had broken I think I could have told the chef in the kitchen and he would have said “Don’t worry, sir, I‘m going to make sure that’s taken care of right away.” I’m not sure I have ever stayed at a place that was so universally cheerful, helpful, and problem-free. If I have, then it was three times as expensive.
That was my personal stay. I also was coordinating a small Army reunion. I’ve been doing this for about ten years and I’ve never seen anybody work so hard at getting providing everything the group needed including staying within a very tight budget. World War II veterans are leaving us at a rapid rate, so our group had declined to under 20 by the time we actually arrived. You would have thought we were paying for 400, the way they hopped to make sure every detail was worked out. We asked for several items that I’m sure they could have charged us for according to the contract, but for them it was less important to manage revenue than it was to make sure the customer was happy with everything.
I recommend the Crowne Plaza wholeheartedly.
I stay at the Crowne often when on business in the Springs. Over the last 3 years the quality has gone up significantly. I was delighted to find that they are no longer charging for internet. A daily $1 service charge covered it all. Very nice.
Great head Cheaf , When I was there, went out of his way, Know what he going for sure (Dave)
Stayed a week for a conference in Colorado Springs. The hotel was nice and comfortable rooms. It is not in a bad location (easy access), but did have to drive to get places. One plus was there is a running trail about a block or so from the hotel. The trail runs along a creek and makes for a nice run. To get to the trail, go away from the interstate on south circle drive. You will pass the University of Phoenix, Days Inn, and pass the mobile home park. You should see the creek and trail. It was easy access through the mobile home park also.
We had a very nice stay at CP hotel.
The room was huge, the bed comfortable, the linens very nice. I asked for a quite room and we got assigned to their "quite zone", it's a floor with no kids, no large groups etc. It was indeed very quite there! It's a genius idea, why don't more hotels come up with this?! The room looked like it was recently renovated and the housekeeping did a great job.
The hotel is also very close to the freeway, so it's great for exploring the area. We actually had a room overlooking the freeway and we couldn't hear anything but a very slight dim noise that wasn't distracting at all. I am a very light sleeper and if that didn't bother me I believe it wouldn't bother anybody else.
In early October I stayed at the hotel
with my son, my friend and her two children. This hotel was extremely clean. We took the children to the indoor pool and they had a great time! We ordered room service for the kids and they loved the food - pizza and french fries. Breakfast the next day was fantastic - everything was fresh and cooked very well. This was my first trip to Colorado and I will now look for these hotels any time I travel in the future.
PS - all staff and front desk people were friendly and very efficient.
Thank you to the Crowne Plaza!
The staff at this hotel go above and beyond in taking care of their guest. The hotel is huge with 3 pools and a hot tub. A gym that has everything plus some. The only negative thing I can say was the room we had was a little small for a family of four. We booked it on price line, so I think if I would have booked directly through the hotel the room would have been exactly what we wanted. There was a complimentary shuttle to the airport. We were given vouchers for two free dinners and two free drinks or desserts for no apparent reason. While waiting in the lobby for the shuttle, a huge group of people were checking in and the hotel staff started handing out bottled water, fruit and cookies to all of their guest. We have been traveling like crazy these last couple of weeks, and we enjoy traveling and by far out of any hotel I have ever stayed at, the staff at this hotel are unmatched on every level. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
friendly and accomodating.
Everybody in the hotel was very friendly and accomodating. Lauren was a very sweet bartender. Great
drinks.
Everything was great. Also used the shuttle service and both drivers were friendly but totally professional. Everyone was so helpful with our family. Really paid attention to our needs.
