David at the North Salon Rocks!. We moved back home to Colorado Springs after a four year absence and I found myself struggling to find a new stylist (my old one moved while we were gone). I walked in to the J Gregory North salon on a whim on my way out of the grocery store and was immediately welcomed by the staff. They were kind and gracious and professional and were able to get me an appointment with David that fit my schedule perfectly.

And what a great stylist David turned out to be!!! I've been seeing him regularly for the last six months and the changes in my hair are amazing! He really listened when I explained what liked and didn't like about my hair and has worked me into a style that I love, get complimented on all the time, and is relatively low maintenance, which with full time school, full time work, and a full time family, is a life saver! David is a consumate professional who really knows his craft and his customers. Barring any unforseen circumstances I will be his client for life and can't recommend him highly enough!!

Constantin Prajescu--hair genius. I have fine, straight hair that shows every mistake. Whenever I go to someone a little less experienced or not as talented, I end up disappointed. I've been going to Constantin for about a year and ever since then, I have LOVED my hair like never before in all my 34 years of life! (And I've been to several really talented stylists in the past). I get compliments on the cut and color all the time.

I love that I can go to Constantine with total trust in his ability. I can ask for something specific, or just let him decide what to do, and I love the result every time! Constantin also has a great personality and will either listen if I feel like talking, or if I don't feel like talking he always has some entertaining stories to share. But he doesn't yap my ear off the entire time. :) That's important to me to have that dynamic.

In addition to Constantin's hair styling genius, the location itself is seriously the hippest salon-environment I've seen in the city so far. To me, that makes paying a high-end salon price all the more worth it.

I truly believe you will love your hair and the entire experience after going to Constantin!

2nd time..SUCKS!!. It has taken me over a year to write this review. I went an entire pregnancy and then some with what I would say was the worst hair of my life. Maybe it sounds dramatic but Andrea Brown did the worst job cutting my hair!! I have (had) long fine hair that she had a great time chopping away at with those thinning shears. Which made for over a year of frizzy horrible hair. I read that she was "cutting edge" oh she CUTS all right.. ALL YOUR HAIR OFF! This was my 2nd bad experience at J Gregory and I will never be back!

Fun and pampered. I went to J Gregory today and got my hair cut by Andrea Brown. She was great! She listened to what I had in mind, offered a few suggestions about what would work well with my hair, but in the end left it all up to me. She had great suggestions. It was clear that she wants you to have fun with your hairstyle, yet not try to be someone else. She is bubbly, kind, and I left with a great haircut that works for both work and play! I definitely recommend Andrea at J Gregory.

Worth it!!. Went to this salon on a referral from a friend who always has cute hair! She recommended Katelyn Unger. I was a bit hesitant since I have tried so many salons here and in two years, haven't found one that was worth what I was spending. So, I go in and Katelyn really listened to me and what I wanted and made suggestions based on that. She came up with a plan for me to grow out my hair and phase to a more natural color. I was so happy with my hair when I left! i get compliments on my color all the time, by far the most natural looking color I have ever had!! I will def be a repeat customer and will go back to Katelyn over and over! Btw- I go the north location and it's gorgeous and everyone is really friendly!

Delightful Experience. I had been wanting to try out J. Gregory Salon for quite some time, mostly based on recommendations from friends who raved about the place, so when a groupon popped up I jumped at the chance to go in. I have to say it is the best cut/highlight job I've had thus far and Karla was super helpful and attentive since I really didn't come in with any clear notions of what I wanted except for a change.

Happy. Had a Groupon so I felt comfortable trying out a salon with typical costs of higher-end salons. Karla was my stylist and she helped suggest a cut/style that would frame long/thin face nicely, modern/professional look, layers that flip-out. I was very happy with cut. I usually get crown highlights, alternating blond and red/auburn. Couldn't tell that the color was bold enough until she took me outside to view in mirror. Was exactly what I was looking for. Awesome work. Thanks, LC

unfortunately cannot refer others. I thought with all the positive reviews my search for a great salon tech would come to an end but unfortunately that is not the case. Extremely disappointed and have had friends even tell me they hate it too - my husband commented that I got a better haircut when I went to Cost Cutters - with the money spent for a hopeful fabulous haircut unfortunately this was an incredible let down - I am a little baffled with all the reviews that are positive - I am not often one to complain - things could be worse - but I do have to share I'm very surprised with so many positive reviews how I can get a hair cut like I did - I'm sorry to say this was a terrible experience and I will not be back. Sweet young girl Katelyn Scruggs but not happy at all - definitely didn't get what I paid for.

Excellent Cut and Color. Jason at J Gregory is knowledgeable and talented. My previous stylist had cut and colored my hair for the past 15 years; needless to say, when she moved out of state I was reluctant to go to a new salon. After asking many friends and colleagues for recommendations, I decided to go to Jason. He exceeded my expectations and gave me a fresh new cut and color. The overall experience at J Gregory is plesant and I have highly recommended Jason to family and friends.

J. Gregory is Great!. Katelyn Unger at J. Gregory is fab!

I read many online reviews and decided to go with her since others had a positive experience, and her service and professionalism exceeded my expectations. Since I was a new customer she gave me a free hair shine cleaning while I was waiting. She took her time, listened to me, and gave me a great new cut based on my facial features and needs.

After my new cut I was asking how to style it and she invited me back the following week for a free styling consultation. I brought my own products, wasn't pressured to buy new ones, and she worked with me until I was able to use a diffuser and get the maximum potential out of my hair products.

In short, J. Gregory is a top-rate salon, and Katelyn in particular is professional, talented, and has the ability to match a new cut with what will look best on you in particular. I highly recommend.
