This sports bar struck out in the service department. I have to say that my recent visit was not my first but was the worst. Apparently management has changed recently and not for the better. The food was not what the menu had stated and the kid working the kitchen that day didn't even pay attention to what was on a patty melt when he sent it out without cheese. The service was horrible as the cocktail waitresses ignored me as I sat at my table with an empty bottle as they worked around me. It might have been understandable had it been busy but there might have been 20 people in the whole bar. My boyfriend had similar luck at the bar as the two guys bartending just ignored his cash in hand for 10 minutes. Back in the day I would have said check this place out, but right now I am telling you that you money is better spent at a place where they want your business because the staff at Hondo's apparently does not.
