hate this groomer. I don't take my dog here anymore. I've been here 3-4x for grooming. The groom area is in the very back of the store. Handling a large dog and an infant is not easy and putting the groom area that far back is just dumb. I have picked my dog up with dog hair completely covering every square inch of the grooming area (walls, counters, computer...everything). I have also sent my husband in to drop the dog off. We ended up with a $70 something bill because they didn't make clear to him what he was getting and the dog was still dropping chunks of hair he was shedding when we got home. Even if they cleaned up or got new staff, the walk to the back will never be a selling point for me.
Hassle and run-around. I had a 6:00 appt. for just a bath for my dog since he had an accident in his kennel and I found it when I got home. I called my dog groomer and they were closing. I called others and no one could get him in. I called PetSmart and they could but said they needed his proof of rabies shot record. I can't remember where I put that thing so I made the appt. and then called my vet. I gave my vet the number to send it to PetSmart. My vet was closing at 5:00. Well, when I got to PetSmart they low and behold, didn't have the fax from my vet! They said they called me and I checked my cell and sure enough there was a call at 5:30! My vet was closed by then and they were aware of this! I called PetSmart at 4 and had my vet fax over the record just after 4. Why did they wait so long to call? Well, I got there and they couldn't take him, even though there were no other dogs or animals in there and it is quite obvious he didn't have rabies! They turned me away. I even made an effort to call the after hours emergency and see if someone could get into the records but to no avail. I just don't understand why they are the ONLY groomers I have EVER visited that need that. No one has EVER asked me for that unless I was kenneling them. I won't go back because they wouldn't even let me fax them the stupid record the next day.

Good overall.
Full disclosure: One of my extended family members works in the grooming department of this store. However, I shop in the aquatic department (don't even own a dog).
Good selection of fish tanks/stands. While they display what they have, sometimes you can find different tanks/stands at the other PetSmarts in town.
What I like is their selection of aquarium related products. From heaters and filters to decorations and fish food, they have a great selection at decent prices. The selection of fish (and other aquatic life) is good enough for beginners and some intermediate aquarists. However, it never really changes. Would be nice if they would rotate some new selections through now and then. They do not have any marine tanks.
Service can be hit-or-miss. People assigned to the fish department generally have good fundemental knowledge of aquariums and can answer any beginner questions. If, that is, you can find the person assigned to the fish department. I've waited in excess of ten minutes just trying to get help.
Bottom line: Good place to get your basics (aquarium, heaters, food, etc.), but don't expect quick service.
