Horrible. The Alligator Bites were inconsistent. They were different sizes (All were very small), some had more breading than others and some were chewy. They were greasy and had a very bland taste. I also got a bowl of the Chicken & Smoked Sausage Gumbo and was shocked that it contained 90% rice & only 10% Gumbo. It only had 5 small pieces of meat in it. Rice was not at all mentioned in the description on their menu (Online or in-store). I was shocked they charged me $5.99 for a bowl of rice! If you have to do this to your Customers than you need to close the restaurant. I felt the product was not worth the money at all and I was deceived. I will NEVER eat at Culpepper's again!!!

Best Cajun Food Around Colorado!. My family is from the south and were looking for a fun place that offered good down home cooking, boy were we ever so impressed. Not only were the prices reasonable, but the staff made us feel right at home and the food.... the best that I've had since I left the south! Don't let the atmosphere fool you (its in a strip mall) the food is to die for! I recommend the Shrimp po boy and the fried ocra. But don't forget to save room for dessert, it's the best thing you'll ever eat. I highly recomend this place and plan on driving down from Denver to get more! Thanks so much Culpeppers!
