"I have owned Toyotas over the years
because they are quality, reliable cars, but I come to the Liberty Dealership (even though it is out of my way) for one main reason: Mr. Mike McGee is an outstanding Service Advisor. The professionalism of Mike McGee is directly responsible for maintaining my business at Liberty. Let's put it this way: my wife used to go to the ""other"" Toyota dealership in C-Springs, and due to various issues...let's just say we prefer Liberty.
Mike McGee is first and foremost absolutely competent on the technical side. As a mechanical engineer myself, I know what service needs to be done with my car and I am prefer to discuss my vehicle's issues in fine detail. I have been impressed with Mike because he has been a mechanic himself and he absolutely understands the design of my vehicles and is able to easily discuss all of my questions and concerns with me.
Secondly, Mike is invariably cheerful and is a pleasure to deal with whenever I go into Liberty Toyota. I have known Mike only a year or so, but dealing with him is like talking to a friend.
Third, Mike McGee delivers. When he says something is going to happen, he makes it happen without fail. For example, I had both of my Toyotas in for minor service and wash/wax detail, and Mike estimated the second of the two vehicles was going to be finished on a particular afternoon. I took his word for it, and made plans to pick up the vehicle at that time. This was no easy task, as I live approximately 45 miles from the dealership, and had other engagements going on that day. I showed up, my vehicle was ready as promised with no drama and my wife and I were able to quickly get back on the road. But here is ""The Rest of the Story"": turns out the service employee that usually does the vehicle detailing was out that day due to being very sick, so Mike was stuck with a vehicle that was not ready to go, and a customer that had been made a promise. So what did Mike do about it? He personally rolled up his sleeves, walked into the back garage and completed the wax and detail service on my truck himself. No, it wasn't ""his job"", but he made it his business to ensure his customer was taken care off and that Liberty Toyota continues to be the top dealer in town.
Here's the bottom line. I am 46 years old and have been around the block. In my adult life I have dealt with various car dealerships not only around the United States but in Germany and the United Kingdom as well. I have, at various times, owned cars from Oldsmobile, Isuzu, Chevrolet, Toyota, and BMW. In my personal experience, Mr. Mike McGee has been, bar none, THE best service advisor/manager that I have ever dealt with. In my professional life, I have run organizations of up to 1,500 employees--so I know what a sharp and valuable employee looks like. Mike is a gentleman, and due to his professionalism and work ethic I have repeatedly recommended Liberty Toyota to my friends and colleagues."
Very good new car buying experience - knowledgeable sales person - finance - and options were explained. I was very pleased with the deal that was part of the Costco experience.
We walked in the door and were
approached immediately by Mike Hawkins. He was courteous, professional and knowledgable about Toyota and the Sienna we were interested in. We were just there to look but within 20 min decided to buy because everyone was so helpful and we LOVE the Sienna with AWD and you had the color I wanted. Also very happy with the Manager on duty (Gary, I think) and Mike the finance guy. The 0%financing was also a big plus!
Gary Haines, Service, guided me through
the upcoming 90K maintenance requirements for my 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The issue of pending brake and shock replacement was discussed - most likely at 100K. There were two ""scrapes"" on the '06 which needed repair and based on past experience with your recommended ""Authur's Paint and Body"", I felt this would be another $900. In addition, the two front mud guards were shredded from 90K of driving. With Gary's help, I concluded that I should look at the possibility of trading-up.
Gary found Michael Caldwell for me who provided a demonstrator Highlander. I took the car home, let my wife drive it and with the exception of the color, we decided to make a deal - if the right color could be found. Michael found the right color in Denver and said if I wanted it, he would immediately go get it.... He got back in town around 5:30 PM and the paperwork was done and closed by 8:30 PM.
The incentives offered - discount, 25K free maintenance, 0% financing did not affect my decision. I am usually a ""cash buyer"" but I do not pass up opportunities; these were simply deal-sweetners.
The only thing you guys can do to screw up our relationship is stop providing those delicious bagels and coffee in the morning. Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process (the second time with you guys) and am totally happy with the results. It is always a pleasure to walk into your dealership.
I am happy to find a dealership where I feel I can take my vehicle and vehicle needs and be taken care of in a professional and courteous manner.
Our experience at Liberty Toyota was great. We received prompt and curteous responses from Mike Hawkins to our USAA Auto Circle vehicle request. We arrived 45 min before store closing but were still taken well care of. Malek was able to quickly get us a test drive in a Highlander SE and show us all the "bells and whistles" of the vehicle. After the test drive, the whole team stayed late to find us a Highlander SE in the color we wanted. They also went the extra mile to give us a good price on our trade as well as a comfortable monthly payment on our new Highlander. In the finance department, Jeff was able to find us even more savings based on our credit rating and financing the loan with Ent Credit Union. Overall, we had an outstanding experience with the Liberty Toyota team and would definately recommend them to others.
