Course description: A mostly flat course with some hills. The course is lightly treed. Water comes into play on three holes; there aren't many bunkers. A good walking course.
Signature hole: No. 11 577 yards, par 5. A dogleg left around a lake which comes into play on the tee shot as well as the second. The approach must contend with sand.
Best birdie chance: No. 2 510 yards, par 5. A straightaway hole with a wide fairway. Very little trouble on this hole. It is uphill but can be reached in two by longer hitters.
Play policy: There are no restrictions on public play. Carts are not required and walking is allowed. Shirts and shoes (spikeless, tennis or flat-soled) required. Cutoffs, gym shorts, swim trunks/suits, frayed pants, tank tops and halter tops are not allowed.
Reservation policy: Tee times may be made three days in advance as follows: 9 to 10 a.m., by active duty Army personnel; 10 to 11 a.m., by members and active duty personnel in other service branches; and after 11 a.m. by all other patrons.
Directions: Exit Interstate 25 at Academy Boulevard (exit 135) west to Fort Carson. Continue to Colorado 115 (Nevada Avenue). Turn left (south) onto Colorado 115. Proceed on Colorado 115 to the Titus Boulevard exit (Gate 5). The course is on the left.
Fees (18 holes/9 holes): Fees for ID card holders vary according to pay grade; civilians ($20/$10). Power cart rental ($16/$9); pull cart ($3/$1.50).
